Experienced travel advisor
With experience traveling to eleven countries outside of the US and plenty of states within it, a degree in Geography, and an unrivaled host agency with resources galore, I'm perfectly placed to help you explore the world.
My focus
I can take care of most of your travel needs, but my area of focus is escorted tours with large or small groups.
I celebrate diversity, and believe it's imperative that we all broaden our perspectives by connecting with people & places & cultures unfamiliar to us.

My favorite travel quote sums up how I feel:
"If there's one thing you'll never waste your money on it's travel. Travel the world. See another place. Discover a different point of view. Traveling is the antidote to ignorance. It changes your mind, your perspective, and your beliefs. One of the greatest things you can do is to travel to a country where they don't speak your language. That's probably my favorite thing because it makes you realize how insignificant you really are. You're not the center of the universe. There's another world that exists beyond you." -Trevor Noah
Poet of place
I'm a published poet who believes that poems grounded in specific locations are powerful forces of connection, so I often focus on poems of place.

I earned my MFA in Writing from the University of Nebraska. My poems have been published in or are forthcoming in Avalon Literary Review, Boston Accent Lit, California Quarterly, Crack the Spine, Euphony, Figure 1, FRiGG, Ghost City Review, Hawaii Pacific Review, The MacGuffin, Midwest Quarterly, The New York Quarterly, Owen Wister Review, Pennsylvania English, Pudding Magazine, Quercus Review, Soundings East, South Dakota Review, Sweet Tree Review, The Virginia Normal, Voices de la Luna, Westview, Zone 3, and others.
